The online furniture manufacturers MADE use crowdsourcing and peer production processes to help develop new products. This is an example of a brief for a new, compact two-seater sofa. Along with other designs this was up for votes. I personally like this one because of the funky 60s feel it resembles, but I don't think it was the winner.
