In my sketchbook I explored a few possible ways of expressing my final piece. I decided to stick to the thought bubble idea that I blogged about earlier under the title 'Scrapbook page of thought' and combined it with the words I used in the previous photos I have taken. On the left, inside the thought bubble I considered the idea of attaching the words to images or signs, for example a fish shape next to 'drowning' or a gateway out of the bubble for the word 'freedom'. On the right page, I still kept the thought bubble idea but inserted interloping paths within it to symbolise the chaos going on within my mind as I struggle to get the thoughts out. I also added a zip on top of the bubble to symbolise the restriction of speech.
